Jan Burres and her boyfriend Bob found McCandless on the side of the rode picking berries and other edible plants. Jan convinced Bob to take McCandless with them. Chris stayed with them for a week and grew fond of the couple, since they were also tramps. For two years, McCandless send them post cards of his travels and how life was treating him so far (31).
Soon enough McCandless returned to spend time with his dear friends, and replenish his minerals. Chris joined them to the slabs, a huge flee market - swap meet where he helped them sell books by organizing them and talking to people. " McCandless was especially to Burres, flirting and clowning with her at every opportunity" (45). He was loving, caring, and kind, which was why it devastated Burres and Bob when they heard about Alaska.
A bit more depth or information on Mccandleuss's bond with Jan and Bob and how it developed would have given better insight on their relationship. Overall, sufficient re-cap.

Good information on Jan Burres and her husband. But their relationship with McCandless should be more detailed to show impact.

I think that you should go a little deeper to explain the relationship between Chris, Jan, and Bob so that it would be easier to describe the impact his departure and eventual death had on this couple.

It would better if you included more information on how the relationship between Chris and Jan & Bob developed. You should also explain on how Chris impacted them both because it doesn't seem to show how he did so like he did to Franz.
